PixLite 16 MkII Control Board

SKU: LCO-1048-01
  • GTIN: 4260587333212

The PixLite 16 MkII controller allows you to connect your LED pixels directly. The SPI decoder receives control data via a sACN (E1.31) or Art-Net-over-Ethernet network connection.

With a capacity of 16,320 RGB pixels (12,288 RGBW pixels) and 16 outputs, the PixLite 16 MkII controller is perfect for large pixel projects. In addition to the 16-pixel outputs, the PixLite 16 MkII controller can control four additional DMX512 universes (only via the E1.31 protocol) via four additional outputs. Thus, besides the pixels, e.g. a fog machine or multiple PAR headlights are controlled.

The PixLite 16 MkII controller supports the following protocols:

  •   sACN (E1.31)
  •   Art-Net

The PixLite 16 MkII controller is multicast and unicast capable.
The total capacity is 96 DMX universes. It can thus be controlled up to 1,020 RGB pixels or 765 RGBW pixels per output.

If you use non-CLOCK pixels, the PixLite 16 MkII controller can be used in expanded mode. That is, the CLOCK output becomes a DATA output. Thus, the outputs expand to 32. In this mode, then 510 RGB pixels or 384 RGBW pixels per output can be controlled.

The Advatek GUI Utility makes it very easy to configure the controller and update it to new firmware.

The controller is split into two banks (8 outputs per bank), allowing you to operate 12V and 5V pixels directly from the board at the same time.

The pixels can be powered directly from the controller up to 7.5A per output, but it comes standard with 4A mini-blade fuses. You can change the fuses to any value (up to a maximum of 7.5 A, a maximum of 32 A per bank).
