Can I use it outdoors?

Pixels are IP68 (potted). For permanent outdoor use, the connector is key: xConnect® is outdoor-suited; other systems may require sealing and strain relief.

Do I still need power injection at 12 V?

Often less critical than 5 V, but for longer runs or high brightness it can still be necessary. Best practice: check under load and inject power where needed.
